Aisha Jamila Hinds, an American actress best popular for her work on the TV shows The Shield and True Blood. Since her first appearance in 2003, she's proven her range as an actress, delivering amazing performances on TV shows like 9-1-1 Detroit 1-8-7 and Under the Dome. In 2005 she came under the spotlight by her character Anna In Assault on Precinct 13 It was, however, her character as Fannie Lou (a women's activist for rights) on the biographical All the Way film that brought her fame as an actor. Her portrayal of Harriet Tubman on WGN America's historical drama Underground was equally praised. She currently stars on the procedural drama series 9-1-1 in the leading role of firefighter/paramedic Henrietta Hen Wilson. 20th Century Fox Television has renewed the series to a third season.
