Abigail Leigh Spencer (born August 4 1981) is an American actor. Her performances in the movies Cowboys & Aliens and The Haunting in Connecticut 2 Ghosts of Georgia Oz the Great and Powerful and in the television show Angela's Eyes Mad Men Hawthorne, and Suits are her best-known works. The most well-known was her portrayal of the character of Dr. Erin Jameson, in the television show Hawthorne. Her stunning looks coupled with her incredible acting ability helped to slowly grow a fanbase. In the movie Campfire Stones, she played in the role when she was just 20 years old. Other films she has appeared in are Jekyll This Means War and Chasing Mavericks. Her role on Beautiful Now earned her a nomination in the Madrid International Film Festival Award. Her most recent work in television is the lead part of the professor of history Lucy Preston in the sci-fi TV series Timeless. The series has been praised by critics, and Spencer's character has been nominated in the Teen Choice Award.
